An update on Eye on Nature Wearable Arts
Eye on Nature Wearable Arts has been one of the highlights of our calendar since its humble beginnings in a marquee on the lawn at the Auckland Botanic Gardens. Highlights from Eye on Nature School Days 2026
In March, our Eye on Nature School Days brought 1,186 tamariki out of the classroom and into the Auckland Botanic Gardens to explore, discover, and connect with the natural world around them.

The Beautification Trust is excited to welcome Gimhan, a Digi-Coach to support the community with everyday digital needs. Until Friday 17th July, locals can access free, friendly, drop-in help with everything from smartphones and tablets to online services and apps.

South Auckland Middle School cashes in on empties
Container Deposit Return Scheme trial a hit with rangatahi and the principal. South Auckland Middle School (Te Paerangi) raised $477.40 in a single lunch break in their 10 November 2025 bottle drive, supported by the Beautification Trust. The 180-pupil school saved 2,387 empty bottles and cans from litter or landfill, earning 20c an empty for their school. The proceeds will be spent on materials for the Beautification Trust’s Boomer Shed to make a picnic table for the school
