Triple win for Beautification Trust at 2degrees Auckland Business Awards

This week our team is celebrating an incredible three award wins at the 2degrees Auckland Business Awards South & East!

We were honoured to take home the trophies for

• Employer of the Year

• Excellence in Sustainability

• The Supreme Business Excellence Award

Our Employer of the Year entry told the story of a values first culture, from Living Wage accreditation and flexible working as the default, to high staff retention and engagement.  

Meanwhile, our Excellence in Sustainability entry focused on the incredible mahi of Packaging Recyclers, a new part of the Trust since October 2025, which has spent over 30 years keeping cardboard boxes in circulation rather than sending them to be recycled or landfilled.

What makes these wins particularly special is being acknowledged in business circles as a social enterprise. It shows that it’s absolutely possible to care for your people, your community and the environment, and to advocate for a just and sustainable future, while demonstrating business excellence. You don’t have to choose.

A huge thank you to the Auckland Business Chamber for hosting these awards, the judges for giving their time to a very hard task of assessing the incredible entries, and every sponsor who made the night possible. Congratulations to every finalist and winner; we were humbled to share the room with some seriously impressive businesses.

These wins are for our incredible team, our volunteers, our partners, and the communities who trust us to do this mahi alongside them.
