We teamed up with Conscious Kids to host Junk Play - Loose Parts Fun during the July school holidays at the beautiful Auckland Botanic Gardens.
Tamariki used their imaginations to make their own fun with large loose parts that were diverted from landfill. It was so inspiring to see the awesome creativity from our future environmental kaitiaki/guardians.
Junk Play is all about repurposing junk into resources for learning, creating conditions where children can play, invent and discover while promoting a cultural shift towards reduce, reuse and recycle.
