Farewell and Thank You to Marshal Walia

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Marshal Walia, who has stepped down from the Beautification Trust Board of Trustees following his recent election to the Manurewa Local Board. 

Marshal has been a loyal friend and supporter of the Trust for nearly 10 years. Since first joining us as a volunteer, then as a Board Associate in 2022 and a Trustee in 2023, he has always been a huge advocate for our kaupapa. Whether it was rolling up his sleeves at a Town Centre Clean-up, supporting Eye on Nature, or promoting our environmental initiatives in the community, Marshal has contributed with generosity and heart. 

While we’re sad to see him go from our Board, we’re proud to see him take this next step in his public service journey. We know he’ll continue to be a strong advocate for the Trust and our community.
