Looking for something fun and free to do with the whaanau these school holidays? Come along to the Auckland Botanic Gardens and join the Beautification Trust’s Tread Lightly team for hands-on environmental fun alongside the Eye on Nature Creative Arts Exhibition.
Explore the world of waste through fun, hands-on activities and help build a cardboard city using recycled materials. Discover how reducing, reusing and recycling can make a difference, while getting creative and learning practical ways to care for te taiao.
While you’re there, check out the Eye on Nature Creative Arts Exhibition to see what local tamariki have created. Pick your favourite artwork and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award!
