Eye on Nature Wearable Arts: Introductory workshop for teachers

The Beautification Trust is excited to invite Auckland primary, intermediate and secondary schools to take part in Eye on Nature Wearable Arts 2022. 

Wearable Arts is a student-led project which challenges students to learn about our environment and re-imagine sustainable solutions through fashion, art, and creative expression.

This year we are offering free Zoom workshops for teachers who want to learn more about taking part in Wearable Arts. The workshops will be on:

• Thursday 2nd December at 2:00 – 3:00pm
• Tuesday 7th December at 3:00 – 4:00pm

Both workshops are the same, so you can choose the time that suits you best.

During this interactive workshop, we will cover how to apply for the competition, how to approach learning about sustainability with your classes, and what to expect on the night of the competition at the Vodafone Events Centre.
