Eye on Nature Family Day 2020
Time & Location
About the Event
Eye on Nature is an outdoor adventure for Auckland families, held at the Auckland Botanic Gardens event site. Over 40 environmental partners band together to put on a full day of activities that will engage our tamariki in the theme:
‘Adaptations in New Zealand – Thrive to Survive’, ‘Urutaunga ki Aotearoa – Tipu Matomato hei orapito’.
Attracting 10,000+ people each year, Eye on Nature should be marked on your calendar! Our Family Day is absolutely FREE, including free parking, activities, water and performances.
This is a zero waste programme, please bring your own reusable items and help make a difference. We welcome you to pack a picnic and make this a family day out. Water stations and healthy affordable food options will be available from 10am.
Eye on Nature is brought to you by Manukau Beautification Charitable Trust and supported by Auckland Council, Auckland Botanic Gardens, Howick Local Board, Papakura Local Board, Otara-Papatoetoe Local Board, Franklin Local Board, Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board, Manurewa Local Board and over 40 environmental partners from around New Zealand.
