Eye on Nature Creative Arts Prizegiving

Celebrate the creativity of our young environmentalists at the Eye on Nature Creative Arts Prizegiving!

Join us at the Auckland Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre on Saturday 26 September from 10:30am – 11:30am, as we celebrate the incredible artwork created by South and East Auckland tamariki for this year's Eye on Nature Creative Arts competition, hosted by the Beautification Trust.

This year's theme, Ka tipu tahi taatou – Together We Grow, invited tamariki to explore how we can care for te taiao by working together.

Come along to celebrate the young artists, see their creative ideas brought to life and find out which artworks have taken out this year's prizes.

The prizegiving also marks the opening of the free Eye on Nature Creative Arts exhibition, where all the entries will be on display throughout the school holidays.

Bring the whaanau and help us celebrate the creativity, hard work and environmental thinking of our young artists. After the prizegiving, take your time to explore the exhibition, wander through the Auckland Botanic Gardens and make a day of it.

The exhibition runs until Sunday 11 October, and visitors will also have the chance to vote for their favourite artwork in the People's Choice Award.
