Volunteer

Eye on Nature is our signature environmental education programme. Held at the Auckland Botanic Gardens, the Whānau Day is our largest annual event - in previous years we’ve welcomed over 10,000 visitors! We rely on a large crew of volunteers to make it possible.

Can you help?

We're seeking volunteers to help out at the Eye on Nature Whānau Day on Saturday 26 March at the Auckland Botanic Gardens.

Volunteers help run games and activities, support our exhibitors and educational partners, direct visitors, help coordinate event operations and orchestrate our live entertainment.

Volunteering at the Eye on Nature Whānau Day is such a fun way to give back to your community. All volunteers receive complimentary lunch and the opportunity to engage with our diverse community and rub shoulders with environmental experts.
